MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING by William Shakespeare in St Davids Bishop's Palace
Two blossoming relationships, one on the brink of tragedy, one joyful witty and romantic, are played out in parallel in Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy. Will Beatrice and Benedick finally get together after a lifetime of denial? Will Claudio see the error of his ways? Will Hero recover from the shock of her life? With Dogberry and the Town Watch patrolling the streets, anything could happen! Come along to the magnificent Bishop’s Palace in St Davids for an evening of fun and drama.
TOAD OF TOAD HALL by A.A.MILNE in Mathry Community Hall
Follow the exploits of the exuberant Toad, as he drives fast cars, gets thrown in jail, then has to depend on his friends, Badger, Rat and Mole, to win back his stately home from the mischievous Ferrets, Weasels and Stoats. Along the way he meets a cast of colourful characters, including a pessimistic horse… With the original delightful music by H Fraser-Simson throughout, played by our live band, this production is a real delight. Come and discover the beautiful village of Mathry, where we’ll be performing in their Community Hall.
RAMBLING ALONG in the atmospheric vaults of St Davids Bishop's Palace
For two nights only, you have the chance to hear a captivating selection of poetry, prose and music, performed by the entire Festival Arts company. This year, the show is on the theme of Rambling, in all its senses, from hedgerows and hikers to meandering trains of thought. These performances are set in one of the secluded Bishop’s Palace Undercrofts, making for a unique atmospheric occasion. Come and discover our hidden gem.
